Cowboy Christmas Las Vegas

Cowboy Christmas has become an event on its own – it is now an avenue for the biggest names in the Western industry to showcase their best products. The location of the Cowboy Christmas is the Las Vegas Convention Center, South Hall. It is pristinely located for access to almost all other key areas.

The area is open daily and admission is free for all attendees in the championship. The running hours are between 9 a.m. and 5 pm.

The Wrangler Rodeo Arena

Rodeo events are not just limited to the championship arena alone – you can enjoy a wide array of options at the Wrangler Rodeo Arena inside the Cowboy Christmas. The most popular feature here is the Junior World Finals; this is presented by YETI.

Watch over 850 young cowboys compete in up to nine events daily between the hours of 9am and 5pm. The admission to the Junior World Finals is not free; it costs only $5.

Get a firsthand look on the brightest youngsters that the sport has to offer. Another competition that you don’t want to miss out on is the Flag Girl Competition.

NV Energy will also be presenting their Exceptional Rodeo competition.  

Rodeo Live Stage

The live music feature of Cowboy Christmas has always been a favorite for many people. The arrays of country and western musician that has performed on this stage will make you think you are at the Country Music Awards.

You can also enjoy any of the daily talk shows that Cowboy Christmas offers. Here, you can get more insight on the happenings before and during the championship. The following are the scheduled talk shows for this year;

  • RFD-TV presents Western Sports Roundup at 9:15am.
  • Flint Rasmussen presents “Outside the Barrel” at 12 noon.
  • Andy Griggs’ “Keepin’ it Country” is by 1:15pm.

There is also provision for acoustic musical performances at the NFR Central Area. This is also one of the locations for the Wrangler NFR official autograph session. Special guest appearances are a common feature here – you can never tell if your favorite star is just going to stop by.

Cowboy legend Dale Brisby will also be stopping by at the NFR Central Area while the Team Hesston will be hosting an interactive autograph session on Saturday, 7 December between 10:30 – 11:30am.

DINING AND WINING

 If you are going to spend some amount of time in the Cowboy Christmas, you will definitely need some food and drink options. The BITES & BREW category of Cowboy Christmas features the best of food options.

Coors Rodeo Saloon is the place to for great food and drinks during the championship. It is located at the east end of the Cowboy Christmas arena. It offers more than just beverage options and chow; you will also get to enjoy the multiple video screens.

Replays of performances from the previous night is a common feature on the video screens available at Coors Rodeo Saloon – if you miss any of the action from the previous night, why not enjoy some great food while you catch up on the action? 

Calgary Stampede Presents the Great Wall of Rodeo

This is another popular feature of the Cowboy Christmas. It is a colorful and captivating area where the graphics of all 120 contestants at the Wrangler National Rodeo Finals 2019 is located.
